How To Use High Frequency Radiation Meters: A Helpful Guide!

Protect Your Family From RF Radiation Cover

This article is part two in a four part series entitled “Protect From RF Radiation: A Helpful Illustrative Guide”. The purpose of this part of the guide is to teach you how to use the two high frequency radiation meters that I recommend using.

The purpose of this overall guide is to teach you how to identify and correct every source of RF Radiation you and your family are being exposed to in your home. So the articles in this guide you are going to want to bookmark, and take your time going through them. If this is something that is important to you, then you will want to read each part carefully as well as watch each video. This is meant to be your guide as you go step by step through your home and identify and correct all of the radiation problems you have.

On the other pages of this guide I take you room by room, with my video camera, through a real house and show you how to test for both RF Radiation and Dirty Electricity. And then I tell you exactly what I would do to solve each problem. You not only get to read about it but you get to watch me do the tests on video. If you go through your home as I do here, and make the needed corrections to lower your RF Radiation exposure down to safe levels throughout your house, your family will be healthier as a result. So I hope that you will use this guide so that it can benefit you.

This guide includes a 4 part series. Each part has its own chapter. You can get to each chapter by clicking on the corresponding link below:

In the modern home going through your home and identifying each source of harmful radiation and correcting the problem can seem daunting. We have so many electronic devices and so many electrical circuits in our homes. But honestly it is really fairly straightforward and to the point.

The average home can be tested in less than an hour. A really large home can be tested in no more than two. And the corrections can be equally as fast, or take more time depending on the corrective measures you decide to take and your budget.

The first thing that is a must is to have a meter that will test for radio frequency/microwave radiation as well as one that will test for dirty electricity in your home’s electrical wiring. Both of these meters you really cannot do without. But you don’t necessarily need your own. If you have a friend or family member that has these meters, then you might be able to borrow them.

When I first started looking into this as a problem, I did not have access to the meters myself. As I read more and more about how to test for these problems, I started guessing in my mind what the issues in my home might be, and what I might need to fix it. The problem was without the meters I didn’t really know. I was just guessing. What I have learned since then is that all homes are not the same. There can be dramatic differences in the levels of radiation in different homes; that is just how it is.

If I had tried to correct problems without having a meter, I would have guessed wrong. In some areas, I would have spent more on corrective measures than I actually needed, and in other areas, I would have not corrected enough. This is true with both types of radiation, but especially true with dirty electricity.

This will make more sense to you as you go through this process. For now, just take my word for it. To do this right you really need to get access to both of these two types of meters.

HF-35C High-Frequency Analyzer

The first meter you will need is the HF-35C High-Frequency Analyzer for measuring RF/microwave radiation. Again, if you go to the Recommended Protections page on this website I have links to the best places to purchase everything I talk about in this e-book.

In my opinion, (and in the opinion of other experts I trust), this is really the best meter for a beginner to use when diagnosing radiation problems in their home.

There are 2 main reasons this is so good for a beginner at this. First, since we will be trying to identify specific sources of radiation, a “directional meter” meaning one that reads whatever you point it at, is a huge help in this process. Non-directional meters can be more difficult to know exactly where the radiation is coming from.

Second, this is a very simple meter to use. In the video portion of this course, I will show you how to set up this meter and what to have the settings set to. But I will tell you here as well.

On the left side of the analyzer, you will see the “Signal” switch. Your options are “RMS or “Peak”. Turn it to “Peak”. There are two switches on the right-hand side of the meter. The upper switch set on the 1999 option, not the 199.9 option. The lower one is the on and off button. That is self-explanatory. When you are ready just turn it on, point it, and read the meter.  It is pretty basic. It reads up to 2,000 micro-watts per meter squared. When more radiation than that is being picked up it just shows a number “1”. That is when you know it is picking up more radiation than 2,000 micro-watts per meter squared.

The second meter that you will need is the Graham-Stetzer Microsurge Meter for testing each circuit in your home for dirty electricity. If you go to the Recommended Protections page on this website I have links to the best places to purchase everything I talk about in this e-book.

This meter is very simple to use. There are no settings to set, no switches to switch. You just plug it into an electrical outlet and it will measure how much dirty electricity is on that electrical circuit.

In the video portion of this training, I will show you exactly step by step how to use this meter. It is really simple but is very important to have access to.

In the below video I do a quick demonstration of the Graham-Stetzer Meter I recommend you getting so that you know how to use them.
